Celebrate…National Ice Cream Cone Day!

I remember what a treat it was to stop by Thrifty’s and my dad telling us four kids, ”Triple scoops all around!” We peered into the glass case freezer full of cardboard tubs of tantalizing flavors. Mocha Almond Fudge, Mint Chip, and Butter Brickle were among my favorites..
I think it was 35 cents back then. And although the scoops were not huge, watching the clerk scoop the selected icecream was enchanting.
And as we climbed into our green Travel-all, it felt like life was simple. Making sure the drips didn’t f
all into our laps was the only care we had for that moment. Wouldn’t it be nice to share a scoop of joy with those you love?
Life is full of sweet moments. Celebrate the little things!
