Happy National Aviation Day

This is Scott’s favorite quote..probably because it isn’t just words ~ it captures his life passion. Flight was something he dreamed of from the time he was a youngester, pretending to control his  stoller with a Fisher Price remote control that came with a toy car. Only he wasn’t really in a jogging stoller, he was in a podracer and he was Scott Skywalker, the next Jedi fighter pilot.

When Scott realized podracing wasn’t an actual occupation he settled on the next best thing, being a Marine firghter pilot. He loved anything and everything involving airplanes and flying. The smell of the fuel at the airport was his favorite aroma. Being in a plane was like being home.

Now Scott is living his dream ~ he is not a podracer, or a Marine pilot, but is stationed in Korea for the next 2 years, serving in the Army as a Blackhawk helicopter mechanic. His goal is to become crew chief so he can trade in his student pilots license for the real thing. Being a pilot.
