There’s No Place Like Home

Melissa, Marci and Noelle catch up at the Aunerud's Ice Cream Get Together.

It is hard to believe that our visit in Fergus Falls is over and we are heading back to the Twin Cities for the grand finale of the Seither’s Great Adventure ~ Michael Vennerstrom’s wedding.

We spent more time in Fergus than anywhere else. Three nights in one place! Staying with Melissa and Jerry was such a treat. By the time we left our kids felt like they had another set of cousins and an extra aunt and uncle. We loved seeing so many of the friends we often think about and enjoyed the moments spent catching up on each other’s families and recounting fun times.

Our younger kids don’t remember too much about Fergus, but by the time we left they were wanting to stay longer and wondering why we ever moved. As we traveled through country of deep green fields surrounded by blue lakes, John and I found ourselves wondering the same thing. It is hard to not feel torn between our two homes~ MN and CA. But the reality is… they both feel like home where some of our favorite memories and people reside.

“Home” is a place you live in… and a place you long for.
