Beautiful Day

What a beautiful day for a wedding! Yesterday we had the honor of witnessing two people make a vow to love ~ honor~ and respect from that day forward. Michael Vennerstrom’s and his new bride AnnMarie was breathtaking as  she walked down the isle to “Great is Thy Faithfulness”.

We were thankful we were able to make the trip from California to Minnesota for the very special event. We remember when Michael, now a college graduate with a passion for others, was a perfect stand in for Dennis the Menice.

John and I just celebrated 26 years of marriage. Every time I see a young couple start their lives together it reminds me of the day we made similar vows.

We wish the new couple all the best as they begin this very excited new chapter in their lives together.

Congratulations!

I sat stunned in front of the computer screen as grisly images of the bombing aftermath played out. Bodies twisted. Limbs missing. Blood splattered across the concrete sidewalk,  like paint spilled from a carelessly flung can. Captured photos and footage reveal the moment of terror and lifetime of recovery. Every single scar would be a…
