Method
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Wash apples
- Peel around the middle of each apple
- Core out the middle with a corer or with a small spoon.
- Cut a small piece off the end of core and "plug" the end of the apple.
- Mix all remaining ingredient until the butter is fully incorporated.
- Fill apple.
- Top with a small caramel.
- Put in baking dish and put enough water to barely cover the bottom of dish.
- Cover and bake for 30 minutes or until apple is done.
- Serve warm on a caramel drizzled plate or topped with whipped cream.
