Poofta! Super simple and super yummy.

Several years ago John’s mom gave us a framed recipe card of one of their family favorite breakfasts. Poofta. It is super easy and is sure to please everyone in your family. What can I say…real butter!

poofta13 I just made some for breakfast this morning and it was so good I thought I would share it with you!

INGREDIENTS

3 eggs – 1 cup milk – 1 cup flour – 1/3 cube butter

poofta 10preheat oven to 425 degrees

Melt butter in a pan or a skillet

Combine eggs, milk and flour in a blender and mix for 45 seconds

Pour mixture into hot pan.

Bake for 20 minutes.

Top with your choice of lemon, powdered sugar, Nutella, fresh fruit of syrup.

  1. Hey Jami..this is a great little breakfast for a mom’s brunch. Thinking about making this in a muffin pan to create individual servings.

  2. It wasn’t so much as a favorite breakfast…more like all John ever made. That and cocoa. He was in charge of those.

  3. He still makes awesome hot cocoa…and has taught our kids to make it as well. Paired with home-made marshmallows and graham crackers it is the perfect winter treat! I just wish he had been in charge of doing dishes..tee hee!
