You can take the man out of the mountains…

It is hard to believe we have lived in the San Diego area for almost a year now. On the last day that John & Sons were running the mill in Northern California I had to take some pics and a few videos, after all, the sawmill had been a part of our live and livelihood for over a decade.

We love living near the beach and not wondering if we will be snowed in..or snowed out. But sometimes there are things we still miss about our mountain life.

You can take the man out of the mountains..but you can’t always take the mountains (or the sawdust) out of the man.
